Talent Connection: CEOs of start-up and small companies looking for talented people will be on hand with table displays.  We are making an all-out effort to have a great array of companies on board. There should be lots for you to see.

How to Create a Buzz About Your Company: A conversation with a dynamic group of experts from traditional media sources (print, radio) and digital media (web, social networking) as they discuss ways to create and enhance your company’s visibility and attract the kind of good public relations that every new company needs.  The group will be moderated by Cathy Dunkin, CEO of Standing Partnership, an award winning firm focused on helping clients with Public Relations, Brand Positioning and Communications for nearly a decade.

The Start-Up CUE: A friendly competition for passionate people with innovative ideas.  The competition will feature ideas for new (or improved) products or services intended to either solve a problem or enhance quality of life.  It’s important that Information Technology be involved in some way in the design, production, distribution, or implementation phases of the product or service – although IT need not be the central ingredient.  Power point will be the medium for communication of the ideas, with each entry being a power point show that lasts exactly 150 seconds (that’s 2 and one half minutes).  More details available early next week at www.startupcue.com.
